The CCHP program has released the list of 202 newly certified correctional health professionals who passed their exams in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Specialty certification was earned by 11 mental health professionals (CCHP-MH), two clinical providers (physician, PA, nurse practitioner – CCHP-CP), and 12 registered nurses (CCHP-RN). Daniel Spencer Sego, LPN, CCHP-A, received advanced certification (CCHP-A).

Matissa Sammons, vice president of certification, commented, “Every day we hear comments from the field on how much they value the CCHP program and the emphasis on knowledge, standards, education, and quality. We expect 2025 to be a successful year for certification.”

The CCHP board of trustees congratulates them all. The certifications were effective January 1, 2025.
