Portal Open for Seven Scholarships for the National Conference on Correctional Health Care

The NCCHC Foundation will award scholarships for students and correctional health professionals who have three or less years of experience in the field to attend the NCCHC National Conference on Correctional Health Care, taking place September 30 – October 4 in Las Vegas.

Completed applications are due no later than 12 pm (CDT) on June 12, 2023. Awardees will be notified by August 7.

Each scholarship includes full conference registration, lodging (up to 4 nights), and air travel expenses, in addition to being paired with a seasoned correctional health care professional mentor.

“These scholarships are a terrific way to reinforce that correctional health care offers viable, important, and rewarding careers,” says Susan Schultze, executive director of the NCCHC Foundation. “The Foundation is committed to helping to grow the field, especially during these times of widespread worker shortages.”

The NCCHC Foundation has offered scholarships to each NCCHC virtual and in-person conference since 2020, most recently bringing five students and early career professionals to the Spring Conference on Correctional Health Care. The Foundation thanks all of our generous donors. Learn more about partnering with the Foundation at www.ncchcfoundation.org
