Support the Future of the Field on Giving Tuesday

On Giving Tuesday, support the future of correctional health care with a donation (of any size!) to the NCCHC Foundation. This year, the Foundation has supported 50+ scholarships to NCCHC’s in-person and virtual conferences. Winners came from large and small jails and prisons and schools across the United States and represented students, mental health professionals, nurses, and other correctional health care professionals.

It is inspiring to see the applicants’ dedication, care and hope. One scholarship winner’s application said “Seeing justice-involved persons make progress toward their recovery with mental health, substance abuse, and trauma breathes life into my profession. I value this as a core tenet of my profession.”

In her speech at the National Conference, one of the winners said “It’s been great to see how passionate people are about the field… and the different trajectories that they’ve been on and how they’ve all led to this place right here. Thank you. The best thing you can do for students is invest in them, whether financially or educationally.”

Watch our 2022 National Conference scholarship winners talk about their experiences at the conference and make a donation today to support this important program in 2023.
