'Medication Assisted Therapy in Corrections' Educational CD-ROM
For many
individuals with substance abuse problems, contact with the
criminal justice system is the first opportunity for a substance
abuse disorder to be recognized and diagnosed by a medical
professional. This presents a unique opportunity to begin
clinical management and the road to recovery. To help jails
provide appropriate treatment, NCCHC has developed an
educational CD-ROM and is sending it at no charge to jail
administrators nationwide. Others may request a complimentary
copy here.
